Botox
Like other muscles in your body, the muscles in your face develop habits. Some people habitually furrow their eyebrows, crinkle the corners of their eyes, favor one side of their face, or scowl. These regular muscle motions beneath the skin cause wrinkles to form on the facial surface.
Botulinum toxin (BOTOX) is a substance approved by the FDA for cosmetic use in 2002. BOTOX injections are a painless, effective treatment for the signs of aging. It works by temporarily weakening the targeted facial muscles, causing a smoother skin appearance. As we age, our skin weakens and fails to resist the folds created by these muscle movements.
When underlying muscles don’t move, wrinkles don’t form on the surface! Effects of a BOTOX treatment develop over 6 days and last about 4 months.
BOTOX can enhance the effectiveness of an anti-aging skincare regimen, allowing our skin to heal from years of repetitive motions, sun damage, aging, and lack of exfoliation.
Aside from its cosmetic purposes, BOTOX is used for therapeutic treatments, such as those that help reduce muscle spasms, TMJ, migraine headaches, and excessive sweating.
Juvaderm Fillers
Dermal fillers are a cosmetic injection that instantly adds volume to hollowed or recessed areas of the face. Fillers can also be used to correct minor asymmetry of the face, creating a more balanced appearance.
Dermal fillers often work well in conjunction with BOTOX injections, and can be given together at the same visit.
Results from fillers are instant, and most people can return to regular life immediately after injecting. Filler results will typically last for 9 months or even beyond! Areas that can be treated with fillers include lips, noses, cheeks, lower face, and temples.

Acne Management
